So how do you book one at Ginger & Maude? And what can you expect during your service? Robin is filling us in with all the details—from booking to leaving the salon—of your next cut.
How to book online:
- Go online to gingerandmaude.com/book.
- Select the location you’d like to book in.
- Select the haircut service with the stylist level you’d like to book with (Such as Haircut with Lead Stylist or Haircut with a Stylist).
- Answer the required questionnaire to tell us more about your hair and book additional time if necessary. This could be if you have:
- Long Hair
- Thick Hair
- Are a new client
- Want a new look
- Generally need additional time
(If none of these apply to you, just select “Not long or thick.”)
- You’ll also have the option to select from a variety of service options, such as Silent or Mirrorless Services, and optional add-ons, like Heated Styling, a Deep Treatment, a Color Gloss Refresher, or a Mini Keratin.
- Select the stylist you’d like to book with. (Don’t have a preference? Select “anyone”!)
- Add any additional services you might need.
- Choose the date and time that works best for you.
- Fill out your contact information and hit Book Now.
You’re done! You should receive a text and/or email confirming your appointment has been scheduled.
Not a fan of online booking? No problem! You can also call, text, or email the salon location you’d like to book in and the front desk team can help you get everything squared away, as well as answer any questions you might have.
When the day of your appointment arrives (woohoo!), head on over to the salon where you will be greeted and offered a beverage. Coffee? Tea? Wine? We have something for every mood!
You and your stylist will have a short (yet thorough) consultation about the look you’re going for (photos encouraged!), and then they’ll get you set up with one of our custom-designed, body-inclusive cutting capes and bring you over to our shampoo bowl for a shampoo, condition, and lovely head massage (if you’d like one—we can definitely skip the massage if you’d prefer). Then, it’s back to the salon chair, where your stylist will work their hair magic to deliver your perfect cut, complete with a blow-dry style.
At the front desk, we’ll get you prebooked for your next appointment (learn more about why we recommend prebooking here), set up with any product you’re needing, and checked out before sending you on your merry way to wow the world with your sparkling glow. Don’t forget to grab a Werther’s candy!
