As a result of racism and segregation, Portland’s Black community has been historically overlooked and underserved. Ginger Salon’s Learning Exchange Program was created for our stylists and Black community to learn and grow together - while providing hair care services with knowledge, skill, and respect.
Ginger Salon is focused on providing equitable hair services to Portland's Black community, and we are grateful to the community members willing to join us while addressing and breaking down racial barriers in the hair care community.
