Ginger & Maude® was conceived from the ground up to be a true boutique-salon experience, as far from the brightly lit, impersonal salon chains as we could make it.
Not only does our boutique salon design cultivate a genuinely personalized and intimate space for our clients, it has the added benefit of being a perfect startup launch pad for new franchisees.
Ginger & Maude’s hyper-local approach allows for our salons to be designed with neighborhoods and neighbors in mind. Although our Ginger & Maude Brand formula is consistent across all our salons, we add a little something special to each space. The four original Portland locations are each intentionally integrated into their distinctive areas, allowing our community to feel comfy, unique, and ultimately, visible. That’s what we’re here for.
We’re not buzz-wording when we say boutique. Our locations are designed to provide a truly personalized salon experience in an intimate and inviting environment. Our clients receive the focused and careful attention of one expert stylist for their entire service, instead of being passed from station to station like a product on an assembly line.
A small, boutique business model equals lower startup costs and lower fixed operating costs, which could mean less pressure to hit high sales numbers in your first months of business and more resources for investing in your team or your community.
